Protect Yourself from Scams
- INEC will NEVER ask you for money, bank details, or ATM PINs.
- Revalidation is completely FREE — do not pay anyone, including agents, staff, or community facilitators.
- Only use the official INEC portal: cvr.inecnigeria.org
- Do not click links in unsolicited text messages, emails, or WhatsApp messages claiming to be from INEC.
- INEC will never ask you to share your PVC number or biometric data via phone or social media.
Suspected fraud? Report it immediately to your nearest INEC office, call the INEC complaint line, or contact the EFCC/ICPC anti-corruption hotline.
